We offer our space to artists and partners, and can adapt to the different needs of each proposal.

Artists of any age, ethnicity, gender expression or background are allowed to apply!

Looking to host artists of all artistic practices from painting and visual arts to textiles, jewelry and music! Also open to artists who wish to plan and host their own workshops.

Access to rent or host your event in a calming, professional gallery space surrounded by acclaimed Canadian artwork.

Assistance from gallery staff to plan, promote and execute your event, workshop or business idea. We are open to regular event rentals, mutual partnerships and more!

FAQs

What type of work can I submit?

We are accepting submissions from artists to showcase their work. We also accept proposals for space rental for events, programs, vendors and workshops. Come check out our space!

ARTISTS:

We are looking to showcase the works of Canadian artists of all ages, backgrounds, levels. We are open to any forms of art (some examples: fine art, wall art, jewelry, ceramics, music). Priority will be given to local artists who reflect the neighbourhood we live and work in, Kensington Market, although all applicants are encouraged to submit.

EVENT SPACE RENTAL:

Our space is available to partners and community members who wish to host events, workshops or programs. Partnerships could include, but are not limited to: food/drink vendors, pop-ups, event bookings, private meetings, artist workshops and more! We would love to hear your ideas.

How does the submission process work?

We would like to invite you to fill out our submission form (see below). We want to know how we can best showcase your work or assist with your event!

Where will my art be shown? What does the venue include?

We have the following spaces available for artists and bookings:

  • Front window gallery space
  • Main gallery space (walls, display areas, event space)
  • Backyard space (outdoor artwork & event space)
  • Small sink / kitchen area
  • Street-side landing (a.k.a. open parking space)

What we can prepare:

  • Chairs, tables
  • Event necessities
  • Promotion and outreach
  • Arts supplies
  • More, upon request!
How long are submissions open?

We are accepting artist submissions on a rolling basis to showcase new artists throughout 2024, possibly into 2025.

We are accepting event space rental requests also on a rolling basis to host many cool events in Kensington Market this summer and fall, 2024.
